Hello Typhoon Families, 

On Tuesday we will kick off our celebration of the holiday week with our own brand of Typhoon fireworks at Riverwood Athletic Club on Tuesday evening. 

The address is: 205 Athletic Club Blvd Clayton, NC 27527 and there is plenty of parking. Smithfield Rd can be congested during the evening commute so please allow for plenty of time to get to the pool. We will warm up at 5:30 so please plan on being at the pool by 5:00. 

The meet this week will be a bit unusual for us in that the pool is indoors. However, because of space limitations indoors, families will sit outside on the outdoor pool deck and come inside only to swim or watch. 

Please enter through the outdoor pool entrance, not the Athletic Club. The restrooms have showers and will be accessible throughout the meet. Swimmers and families should not use the athletic club locker rooms. 

Riverwood does NOT have a traditional concessions stand. They will have a food truck on site as well a snow cone vendor. There is a Food Lion, Subway, and other food options across the street from the pool.
