Hello Typhoon Parents!

Sorry for the second email, but we need to let you know that we will no longer be travelling to Crabtree for an away meet tomorrow, but will instead be swimming at our pool in a virtual meet with Crabtree.

The reason for this is that Crabtree is operating their pool and meets with no restrictions or COVID safety protocols in place, and are relying on individuals to make whatever personal decisions they see fit to provide for their own health and safety.  We cannot go into another pool's private space and make demands on how they conduct a meet anymore than we would want a team coming into our pool and asking us to change our protocols.  Given that, the Typhoon board has decided that the promise made at the beginning of the season that your swimmer's health and safety is paramount and the driving force behind all decisions we make, and that the only way to ensure that safety is by observing our protocols at our pool.

All that said, the lineup would normally be available for the swimmers at tonight's practice, but the coaches will need to shift heats around a bit, so we won't have that until Tuesday.  Also, the weather for tomorrow looks pretty bad, so stay tuned for updates on Claudette.
