The Durant Trails Typhoons are excited to welcome Jill Meyer as the Lead Kid Catcher. This is a new role for the Typhoons this summer, but one where Jill’s leadership skills will be great as she organizes, leads, and mentors our kid catchers.

So, what exactly is a kid catcher? These are Typhoon swimmers (ages 10+) that assist our 6&under swimmers. Many of the 6&unders feel comfortable having a fellow swim team member in the water with them as they learn to swim. Kid Catchers also play an important role during swim meets as they cheer on the 6&unders in the water at the finish line.
