Team Banquet:

Go ahead and mark your calendars for our End of Season Team Banquet, which is scheduled for Thursday, July 20th.  This will be the Thursday after our final meet against Lifetime Swim Team.  There will be food, drinks, awards, and celebration had by all.  Please RSVP so we know how many people will be in attendance: Additional details to come. 

TSA Championship Swim Meet:

The TSA Championship Meet has been announced and scheduled for Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Triangle Aquatic Center in Cary, NC.  

All 10&unders will swim in the morning session and all 11&ups will swim in the afternoon session. All 6&under simmers will be required to swim a full length of the pool (25yards).

This is the League Championship Meet where all TSA teams can participate; this will feel like a year-round swim meet.  We (all coaches) encourage everyone who is interested to participate.

The deadline to RSVP for this swim meet will be Saturday, July 15 at 11:59 pm.

If you choose to enter your swimmer into this meet, there is a required entry fee and a per-event fee.

In the past, we've had many questions like:

• "Is my kid ready for this kind of meet?" The answer is Yes. It's just like any other dual meet, just on a larger scale.  
• "Is my kid going to be swimming in the main heat?"  This meet will differ from our weekly dual meets as all swimmers will be seeded in heats based on their entry time. This means the entire heat and their times will be very similar, allowing for an even field of racing.

Once we have intent from all our swimmers, we will send out the meet info including the schedule, times, meet lineup, and your total entry fee.

The TSA Meet entry fee breakdown is detailed below:

All 8 & up swimmers can swim up to 3 main events and two relays; 6 & unders can swim up to 2 main individual events.

Please complete the TSA Championship Intent Form with your swimmer's information and what they would like to swim. Feel free to reach out to Coach Allison or Coach Ragan should you have any questions about which events to swim. Also, Jarrod will be at practice to answer any questions.

You may pay your full meet entry via the Durant Trails Venmo Account (@DTTyphoons).

For Venmo payments, please include the swimmer(s) name and "TSA Championship" in the notes section.
