Hey Typhoon Families!

Our first away meet is tomorrow against Summerfield North. Below is information regarding the meet. Excited to see everyone race super fast! We are still looking for volunteers, if you are interested, you can sign up HERE. 

Schedule

Here is our AWAY Meet Schedule. Please be on time so your swimmer can warm up and the meet can start on time.

5:00pm: Swimmers and families arrive at the visitor pool

5:00pm-5:30pm: Swimmer check-in and get swimmer numbers on arms

5:30pm-5:55pm: Warmups

5:55pm-6:00pm: Typhoons Cheer

6:00pm: Start of Swim Meet

- Medley Relays (Age Groups: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18

- Freestyle (All Age Groups)

- Backstroke (All Age Groups)

- Breaststroke (All Age Groups)

- Butterfly (Age Groups: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18)

- Freestyle Relays (Age Groups: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18)

9:00pm-9:15pm: End of Swim Meet

Directions, Parking and Seating

Summerfield North is located at: 8519 Strickland Rd, Raleigh, NC

Club entrance is off Strickland Rd. They are approximately 1 mile East of the Strickland Road / Six Forks Road intersection on the right OR approximately 1 mile West of the Strickland Road / Falls of Neuse Road intersection on the left.

Parking: They reserve their pool parking lot for the visiting team, but parking can be limited. Overflow parking is also available on Running Cedar Trail. Please do not park in Wycombe Manor townhome complex on Skylark Way, you will be towed.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a folding chair and/or a tent to our home meets.

Our swimmers and clerk of course can set up on the Lane 1 side of the pool.

Concessions

Summerfield North offers burgers (beef or bean), hot dogs, corn dogs, chips, drinks, fruit and snacks. Cash and cards accepted.
